well , i have applied for an access course , as i asked here before they said i cannot take any fee grant because its an access course , but what i have just read in the above link is that iam qualify for the fee grant..HOW !

read this ..

Do you qualify?

To apply for the Fee Grant and Course Grant, both you and your course must be 'eligible'. For part-time study, this means your course must:

* last at least one year <<< the access course is 1 year !

* be a higher education course leading to a qualification such as a Certificate or Diploma of Higher Education, an HNC or HND, or a first degree up to Honours level (for example, a BA or BSc) << <<<<after the access We can apply for a degree so it lead to higher education ?

SO ?

  1. Alas an access course is not higher education - it is equivalent to A' Level Standard and comes in as further not higher ed.

  2. Without knowing the details of the course you have applied for, it is impossible to give you an answer.

  3. An access course is NOT an HE course.

"after the access We can apply for a degree so it lead to higher education ?" if that was the case it would apply to A level courses, GCSE's and even SATS. They all eventually lead to an HE course.
