Do I really need to wear glasses?

yesterday I went to the eye doc, he gave me the following rx:

os.-3.00

od.-3.25

does that mean that I should really wear them full time or can I just wear them for driving/movies (given that it's a quite low rx)

Just wear them as needed they don't have to be permanent.

To see you must wear them all the time except possibly for near work.  Can you read comfortably without them?  I am surprised that a question like this would come up.

That is quite far from being a low Rx....

The vast majority with a similar Rx would wear them all the time.

But, it's up to you when you want to wear them. If they are your first glasses, you will be very surprised at what you have been missing...and most likely won't want to go without them for long.
