Do I save or lose money by not doing this?

there is a chance my college could use my financial aid to pay any and all misc bills, ( for stuff like health services, parking fees, I wonder, if I will save more using the fianacial aid for classes and not misc stuff. It's called title IV financial aid waiver. It says:

"by law, other charges such as parking, health services or balances from previous semesters cannot be paid by Federal Title IV funds without your express authorization. This leaves you with the responsibility of having to pay these charges even if you received a refund check. It also can result in a Bursar Hold being placed on your account which restricts your registration, use of athletic facilities and other services"

The bad part is, if I owe more than 10 dollars, they take away privilages like the gym! Do I save money or lose money if I authorize my college to pay with financial aid?

  1. If you have never been to this college before, you will not have any charges from previous semesters.  So this situation will not apply to you.  However, if you have attended this school before and owe them money... you need to say "YES" so they will let you enroll in classes, release your transcript to you when you want it, or pay for a library book you forgot to turn in.  Or if you continue to enroll in classes and do any of the following things, the charges might be covered under these situations.
