I got the RROD and am returning my 360. The lady on the phone said to just send my hard drive, no face plate. What does that mean? I know not the cords but I send the whole unit in right? Or do I just pop off the bottom portion and send it in? Sorry to sound so blond but????

  1. LMAO blonds are hot ;)

you gotta send the whole thing

  2. if she said to just send the hardrive that means the memory unit, you know, the big detachable gray thing that says 20 gb or 60 gb. if you have your 360 setting down, its to the left of the power button.

  3. Just send the actual machine... take off the hard drive from the top and the faceplate from the front of the machine.  They have you do that because there is a chance they won't be able to fix yours, and in that case they'll send you a replacement one.
