Do I sign my WAMU personal check? where?

I am new to this bank.I asked my teller if i should sign my name in the lower right corner..next to the "MP" line.She said NO..is that how WAMU personal checks work? thanks

All personal checks need to be signed by the maker for them to be negotiable. And as long as I've worked in banking, I've never seen a commercially produced check that didn't have a signature line on the bottom right hand portion of the check. My guess is that the teller you talked to was misinformed. Scan one and e-mail it to me if you want further assistance. Hope this helps.

Just like any other checks, your signature goes on the bottom right hand corner.
