Do I sound paranoid?

OK. So I admit that I only messaged the guy because I have a crush on him. I have barely written to him, so I thought this would be a good opportunity. Basically his friend, told me last night that I was mean, so (concerned that I am over my good name, lmao) I decided to write him myself and ask. I'm just afraid that he'll think of me as petty now? or perhaps is this question too petty of itself.

What, you texted him to ask if he thought you were mean?  You should write him again, and tell him you ARE mean.  Like snakes and wasps.  Men enjoy being mocked and mistreated.  I don't know why.  (I don't have the heart to mistreat them, but I see how much they love it when other girls do).
