  1. They do. Bigger firms always have consumer grievance cells in place. However the problem in India is the implementation of consumer laws which is quite weak. Although the Consumer Protection Act,1986 has formed Consumer Courts to protect consumer rights these courts have a huge backlog of cases which prevents them from despatching speedy justice.


  2. Very few have really functional ones. Most have "namesake" procedures that are really dead ends.
