After all when the Irish ( IRA ) asked for help back in the 80's he was the only one to step up and provide the arms. If he should somehow find this question on ANSWERS - I want him to know as an Irishman.. Sir, you have my respect and I tip my hat to you. Here is the man that all Irish Cathoilics should have respect for: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muammar_al-Gaddafi

  1. I would like to stop and say that anyone who has helped my people will have some acknowledgement from me.  I don't see the need to be catholic for this though.  I can't say he's in my heart but I will recognize him for his actions.  I would also like to say and hope people know that the IRA did not surrender or lose any fight.  The IRA stepped back so they would not be labeled as Terrorists.  The IRA are freedom fighters and have been trying to shake english rule of northern IRELAND for over a hundred years.

  2. Possibly nobody's answering because they're so d*mn offended they don't quite know what to say

Not every Irish person, or Irish Catholic, supports the IRA, some of us actually think the IRA, it's various offshoots & the various groupings of the UVF & Ulster Protestant paramilitary groups are actually murdering scum and resent like h**l being lumped in with them

  3. the IRA are not the real irish and not everyone in ireland supports them,in fact the vast majority don't

they are or were massacaring, murdering, gangster scum.

and nobody in their right mind would hold any special place in their hearts for that kleptocrat gadaffi

  4. The IRA are false Irish. They were killing innocent people in Northern Ireland and England. Why? Did they honestly think that it would get the six counties back? And even if they did, what would have that done to our economy? Having to support another six counties. They used it as an excuse to realise their bigoted ambitions.

They were just thugs and terrorists and any Irish person that is proud of them needs to grow up. And not all Irish are catholics.

  5. Its so good to seee some sensible answers here. As they point out the IRA murder gangs did more to damage the interests of irish unity than any other person.  The IRA were terrorists hated by the world and decent Irish catholics and protestants on both sides. Thankfully their defeat and surrender has brought peace to the North. Some great answers here from the good people on this earth.

  6. I am with you and IRISH on this.
