  1. As a "usual tourist", as the previous contributor told, you WILL NEED A VISA for entering Switzerland. Visa need to be applied for at the Swiss Consulate in Jamaica.

    The excemption from holding a visa is made for "Official Purposes only". As an example: You are a Jamaican tourist agent and have an invitation of a Swiss tourist agency for a workshop on promoting skying tours in Jamaica.

    @J W: Please read the German version of your link, and you will see, that it does not apply to "usual tourists"


  2. I think if you don't stay longer than 3 months and you are a usual tourist you will not need a visa.
