  1. Probably not everyday.  I used to wonder that, too. Then a girl from Japan moved to my town. She would eat left overs for lunch and it would be like chicken or pork.

And she didn't eat rice everyday either.  We used to ask her if she ate a lot of traditional Japanese food at home and she stated her mother didn't always make sushi or tempura, etc.

  2. My mom cooked fish every day since she doesn't like meat so much.

Anyway, I can't remember the name of all kinds of fish that she cooked(because I personally don't cook fish every day and I'm not familiar with different kinds of fish) but these are the fish that she usually cooked when I lived with her in Japan:

    horse mackerel (aji)

    salmon

    flounder

    cod

    barracuda

    char

    tuna

    sea bass

    snapper

    sardine

    saury

    yellowtail

    mackerel(saba)

    etc.

Well... today my mom who is retired still eats fish every day...and she still LOOOOVES to grill and simmer fish.

But anyway, me, my brother and my dad always asked her to cook some meat for us. But she didn't want to eat meat and didn't want to cook meat so much so she just kept cooking fish. And we had fish at least oncea day. But sometimes, it was normal for us to have fish three times a day...yap...breakfast, lunch and dinner....

Did I like it? Not really....

  3. Boiled tiny squid, caramelized sardine (tukudani), raw seaweed, salted sea urchin, octopus, etc., etc.

I never fail to eat seaweed every day.

Had grilled saury with grated Japanese radish for dinner tonight.

    Hope this helps.

  4. well, not really, not every day, but certainly more than americans eat fish.

And most british people I know do drink tea every day. But I am talking only about adults not kids. So the guy who asked if british people drink tea every day is sort of true

  5. It depends on each family.

Some families do and some others do not.

  6. Probably some...

    They eat tuna.. salmon..
