Do Jawbreakers ever Rot?

Im just wondering and it never has come to mind until my friend gave me one thats HUGE!!!

Jawbreakers have so much artificial stuff in it, it is unlikely that it will ever rot.  However it will taste a little worse after a long time.

no it will jsut go bad... like get reallly really hard and taste off... this should take about 6 moths

Never heard of a jawbreaker rotting but sugar can spoil and become rancid. I've heard of them exploding after being put in the microwave though!
