  1. I went from a 27 inch tube type panasonic tv to a 42 inch plasma panasonic.  The power requirement tripled.  Both LCD and Plasmas use more electricity.  For the same size, LCD uses less than Plasma.  Also, 1080p plasma uses more electricity thank 720p plasma.


  2. THE LCD AND PLASMA SETS WILL REDUCE YOUR ELECTRIC BILL CONSIDERABLY AS THEY DO NOT USE A BIG CATHODE RAY PICTURE TUBE AS THE BIG BACK TV'S DO.SO REST ASSURED THAT YOU WILL HAVE A WAY BETTER VIEWING EXPERIENCE AND A MUCH LESS DRAIN ON YOUR UTILITY BILL.
