Do London tube workers really make £30,000 a year?

I think it may well be around that, yes. If you look at the article (link below) from 2001, the drivers made about £28,000 then. I'm sure it has gone up a bit. I don't know what you mean by tube workers (technicians maybe? It's possible they make more money because it is a more dangerous job?)
