Do Macs have a Winrar or Azureus vuze equivalent that lets you download torrents?

Or do they not need that stuff? I'm currently in the process of switching my files from my laptop (windows XP) to my Mac and I'm compressing my files and folders, uploading them onto rapidshare and emailing myself the link. Would I need to open it with a Winrar/etc torrent component for the mac?

  1. You don't need a bittorrent program if you are up and down loading from rapidshare.  But, there is a Mac version of Vuze:

As to needing a .rar expander, it depends on how you are compressing.   There are .rar extraction utilities for Mac.

    the free rar expander
