Do Marine Corp Officers get graduation photos at the end of OCS?

My husband will be going to OCS soon and I was wondering if they will have photographs taken of them in their blues and/or have a platoon photograph like they did when they went through boot camp. I have his formal blues pictures from boot camp and it would be fantastic if they have formal photos from OCS as well.

  1. As above they get their basic individual "mug shot" in their officer blues at TBS.  I know my husband has some group pictures from OCS and of course all the pictures I took, both in cammies I believe.  We have my husband's enlisted and officer pictures framed side by side.

  2. i would assume yes

  3. Yes they will take many pictures of them in their uniforms and as a class..No need to worry..

  4. He will have a platoon picture, taken in his cammies, and his sergeant instructors will be wearing charlies and the platoon doc will be wearing his cracker jacks.  It's very much like the boot camp picture but the sergeant instructors (all former drill instructors) do not wear campaign covers or duty belts and they do not bear NCO swords.

They will not have blues pictures unless they are direct commissioned upon graduation from OCS.  Most officer candidates do not do this.  They will get a chance at TBS.  However, if ABA photography is still being used, I recommend NOT using them.  The photographer prints out a digital photo on printer paper and the resolution is horrible.  You'd be better off at Sears.
