Do Mccain and Palin actually think an unwed pregnant daughter will help there campaign? ?

I'm not at all impressed by them trying to turn what could have been a tragedy such as gustav into a part of the rep. nat. Con. and now palins daughter.....what message dose this give our country and how dose it make us look?

I do feel sorry for Palin's daughter, because she will be thrust into the limelight at a very early age, whether she likes it or not.  And the baby's father.  I hope they have what it takes to withstand such public scrutiny.

Are some of you saying that this 17 year old girl going out and combing her hair with a pillow is her mothers fault?  My dad was a Baptist preacher when I was growing up and believe me, I did things I didn't want anyone to know about.  Thats called being a stupid kid.  Atleast the girls boyfriend is going to marry her.  You have to respect that.  He's making her an honest woman.

I love it how people are relating this to Obama's mom. First of all, Obama's mom did not push her values on others and say we should have an "Abstinence Only" program implemented in schools like Palin believes.

The issue isn't about the daughter being pregnant, IT IS about how that is exactly what Palin preaches AGAINST.
