yeah sure they do heres this spell i made up but it works so try it( i did it and now my tail is the perfect shade of hazelnut) okay lets get this show on the road here goes nothing:

                                from the farest seas to the farest oceans
                                to gods and godesses change me to what i
                                want to be a mermaid thats what i seek and
                                special powers to come with thee please cast
                                this spell and i shall never expose thee
                                with this touch of water upon my arm this is
                                what i'll be.

while doing this you could obviosly tell that you need a drop of water on your arm. here are some side affects(but you wont get them until like 2 weeks after you cast this spell.:legs changing color/getting itchy,tingly or achey
-nausia (maybe vomiting)
-fatigue
-difficulty breathing
-coughing fits when in water
-being able to breathe in water/hold your breath longer
-random anger
-scales appearing on your skin
-gills appearing on your neck or under your armpits
-legs sticking together or wanting to stay together
-legs crossing by themselves
-constant thirst after drinking lots of fluid
-headaches
-wanting to touch or be in water

but if you do this spell properly these effects wont happen at all. OH i left out a part while that drop of water on your arm you turn around 5 times counter clockwise then 10 times clockwise.

OF COURSE IT WORKS!!!!!!! i tried it a month ago and it worked,it only takes a couple of weeks to get it going. im so tired of you guys hurting little kids feelings by telling them spells dont work,so i proved they do work and it did.SO HAHAHAHAHAHA TO ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY DONT WORK!!!!!! you should be ashamed of yourselves  forbreaking they're hearts!!! i hope you feel bad now!
