  1. Yes they had air conditioning.

Not so much for the comfort of the pilot but for his survival.  The bleed air coming out of the engines is about 350F and needs to be cooled before entering the cabin.

The cabin is pressurized and the pressure suit is for redundancy.

  2. air conditioning? like, to reduce heat formed  by flying at mach 3?

    I doubt it.

the cabin was pressurized but I'm pretty sure it wasn't air conditioned.

  3. The cabin was pressurized, but Soviet aircraft were not know for creature comforts for pilots.

While this aircraft was built for Mach 2.5+ speed, so that it could catch the B-70, whenever the aircraft went over Mach 2.3 it was necessary to change the engines, so it was not a really useful aircraft.
