It really depends on where you live. A lot of outdoor pools open Memorial day weekend, and others wait longer just depending on their demand for the use of the pool and when it's warm enough. Many pools like to open after school gets out because many of the kids during the summer work as the lifeguards.

I think when school is out.  At least here (in Texas) it is like that.  It should be when it gets hot - which is like March here!
