  1. yes

  2. Yes, taking a good multi daily will help, however produce contains many other nutrients not included in a multi (fiber, antioxidants, bioflavanoids etc).  There is no substitute for the 5-10+ servings of veggies and fruit per day.  Some cost effective strategies I give to my financially struggling patients are buying produce that is locally grown and in season (don't buy strawberries from Chile in January etc), as well as produce that is not prepared (pre-washed, pre-cut etc).  Many farmer's markets have lower prices than most grocery stores, and it is usually fresher and better tasting as well.  Also remember that healthy, whole food usually costs less than the highly refined processed prepared foods.  Do the prep/cooking yourself, and you will save a lot.

    Good luck!

  3. I dont eat so healthy either just because i simply dont have time, plus im in college and funds are kind of low, but i have started taking a mulit vitamin and i have noticed a lot of differences. I sleep better, im not so tired all the time, and my skin even looks better.
