Now this is a ridgy didge world cup, not like your "play for whoever you want to caper" it will be the biggest sporting event to hit Oz since the 1992 Cricket World Cup at the MCG, some of the games you may want to watch out for include, PNG v Japan, Sweden v India, Denmark v China or the big one USA v Nauru!!! The AFL were going play the matches as curtain raisers to AFL games but because the players might be intimidated by the big crowds they have decided to play them before the NRL games this weekend !!! And you people say our game isn't global!! I read that 3 of the Japanese players even know the rules, Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!!!

  1. Awesome, An AFL ''World Cup''.

One problem though. Don't you have to have more then one country for a ''World Cup?''

You must have that poor of a life, or, none at that, to try and annoy people on Y!A.

    Seriously, you loser...

  2. Wat a $hit show that will be. I bet i could get a few of my m8s 2geather and flog the $hit out of all those international sides. I doubt if any of those country's would even have any AFL comps, its some cheap ploy by the AFL 2 try and b somthing it will neva be. Pathedic!!

U AFL supportors r worse then the Brits in ways, they only ever care about sport when they r winning. AFL fans say they dont want AFL  2 be a international game and that they dont care but we all now they will do any thing 2 get the game globel, but its neva gona happen

  3. lol........ sweden v india, sounds like a cracker of a game!

  4. another great sporting moment in gafl history. should be top games. you clown. nrl players only play for their country of nationality if they are not selected for the roos.

  5. WOW!

    that sounds so c**p

i would rather watch 'at the movies' (worst show in the world) then watch some poo like an AFL world cup

  6. The first International AFL World Cup was held in 2003 in Melbourne. It was so mickey mouse that Australia wasn't even allowed to play. There were more players on the field than spectators in the stands. Nobody remembers who won. Nauru are a powerhouse in World AFL, as well as Denmark, who hold the non-Australian attendance record for a game of AFL - 62. (That's sixty-two, not sixty-two thousand).

  7. "It will be the biggest sporting event to hit Oz since the 1992 Cricket World Cup at the MCG,"

Mate, you need to get off the drugs!

  8. wow, finally. They said that it was going to become international 70 years ago, not to long since then. so how do you think people are going to like it? India? codes of football aren't there sport. Sweden, not a big sporting nation apart from the soccer. same with Denmark and most Euro countries. The us will play anything even if they are bad at it, same with china. PNG are always going to be rugby and rugby league. Japan are great sports who will also try anything. And Nauru aren't the best at sport but will try it.  And think about it, do you really think it’s just going to go off like that? going to be one of the best things ever? well Rugby, Rugby League and FIFA have been around a lot longer and have earned their spot. They aren't going to let some Victorian backyard game spoil that. It won't be a success or at least not for a very long time.

And for your question, i don't drink Dr Pepper, looks like another thing you and your AFL people go wrong.

Edit: geestar, just stop. you’re not cool, no one thinks your some hero and your just a waste of space. I do think it’s a bit creepy that your answering my questions about wine. next you will be answering all my questions.

  9. Mate, I had to wipe the tears away from my eyes..that is the BEST laugh I have had all week. Thanks for the very informative question/statement Geestar, but I'm afraid I wont be going out of my way to find the results to these matches.

By the way, are you really sure that they are scheduling these matches before NRL due to the international players being intimidated by the huge AFL crowds? I tend to think it is more along the lines of real AFL fans showing how disinterested they really are in international involvement. How embarrassing would that be to promoters if the crowds didn't turn up for the "pre game" entertainment?!

  10. WHO THE h**l WATCHES g*y F L ANY WAY IT is the worst, u r a softy coz u like that. $hit it sucks and it should be put next to mud wrestling ( for guys with no clothes on) as a g*y sport. U NEED HELP

  11. Yep all the left over countries that are too S**t to make the Rugby League WC finally have a S**t sport to fit right into.. Congratulations to that cool online S**t talker.. must be pretty proud of that along with crowd numbers lol noone cares about crowd numbers, NRL has its our fans and know the truth whose better, AFL just has g*y some-what supporters who can only brag about crowds & money.. Good luck with that world cup of yours, I'm sure the countries cannot wait to get touched all over and jumped on each others backs, it will never be as great as NRL

  12. AFL World cup... Yea ok 3 Japanese players compared to 10-20 countries who play Rugby League more than GA(y)FL
