Do Neoprene waders control human scent?

I hunt a stand that i have to wade down a river to get to. Will my neoprene waders act as a scent barrier or will it just make me sweat and smell more?

Actually, both. While perspiring increases the scent dispersed, much of your scent is trapped inside the waders. Unfortunately, you needed to touch and handle your waders to stretch them on, thereby leaving additional scent on the outside of the waders. It's sort of a "catch-22".
