  1. Just the other day,  I went to  Big Fisherman to pickup some boiling seafood. It was bomb!!!! Yep, New Orleans restuaurants are come back better then ever. No I have to been to John Besh's.

  2. I was just there a few weeks ago...and the food was absolutely amazing!!!!  I'm still working it all off!! : )

  3. Yes, I've been there several times before and after the hurricane, still the best food I've ever eaten was in New Orleans.

  4. Yep, the food is still the bomb. Haven't been to Besh's new place.

  5. yes, the food is excellent still.

    can't speak for besh yet.

  6. I have to say yes, being from New Orleans the restaurant are probably one of the only things that are the same. I think this is because of the tourism revenue brought in from the food. I have yet to try John Besh's restaurant.

  7. Yes, the food remains about the only real positive in New Orleans today.  I have to admit that N.O. is my least favorite city in the US today, and was before Katrina.  Reconstruction has been slow.  The population has dispersed all over the country.  Those who have remained deserve a lot of credit for their love of the city.  But, I am not one of the great fans.  The food, however, in all fairness, is great.  I have not been to John Besh's.
