Do ONIDA AC'S have a japanese compressor?

i stay in mumbai(INDIA). I am about to buy a window AC 1.5TON. i have been told that ONIDA AC'S have japanese compressor installed in them? is it true? & it's cooling is better then LG & it's power consumption is also better then that of LG.

The plus point of LG is that it has a KOREAN COMPRESSOR fitted in it & has a stable record & it's after sales service is good.therfore it can easily last 7yrs.There have been no complaints since last 4-5yrs.

On the other hand onida brand, has been told to me is also having no complaints since past 2yrs.

cooling wise & long life wise is ONIDA better then LG? can i go for it instead of LG?(as price is nearly the same, instead onida is 300Rs lesser than LG).(this holds true if it is fitted with a japanese compressor & not otherwise which i do not know ?) Does anyone who technically can answer the above would really help me as i have to buy an AC just within 2day's. Technical people help please!

Yes, i was also told that Onida uses the same compressor which are used in Hitachi and O'General ACs. I also bought Onida Window AC W112YR which cools in just less than 2 or 3 mins. Excellent cooling and features.

Hitachi is the Best to buy already have 1.5 Tr Quadricool Window and have 1.5 Tr Split Onidia mirror IDU working fine,not having any problem yet
