no. its all in ur head. u can take a plastic cup and a piece of cardboard and say "oh its moving!" trust me.. i have it, and it doesnt work... someone is usually always moving it or it just doesnt move

I say its a hoax. Although some believe that spirits control the planchette, others say there is a simple scientific explanation for this movement: the ideomotor effect. The ideomotor effect is the body's involuntary and unconscious response to psychological stimuli. (Crying, for example, is attributed to the ideomotor effect). Scientists say that Ouija board users may be moving the planchette even though they think they're not exerting any pressure on it. This movement would be more pronounced if more than one person had their fingers on the planchette.

Well there is instances where people says it has.  There are rules you should know.  Never burn the board for spirits may attack you or you could lose your soul.  You have to believe to make the board work.  It also can be a game of whose moving the board and being really trying hard not to laugh.  It all depends on how you feel about the game.  It is said that it attach bad demons.  The game is no joke it can be a scare experience.

Yes I have heard of instances where they actually work.  I refuse to ever play with one of those things again.
