  1. I don't think pandas do it.. But... Rabbits do!! Yes, they eat IT!!

Rabbits are herbivores and their diet contains large amounts of cellulose, which is hard to digest. Rabbits solve this problem by passing two distinct types of f***s: hard droppings and soft black viscous pellets, the latter of which are immediately eaten. Rabbits reingest their own droppings  in order to fully digest their food and extract sufficient nutrients.

Pandas, either Red or Giant ones, consume mostly bamboos.

The Red Panda eats mostly bamboo. Like the Giant Panda, it cannot digest cellulose, so it must consume a large volume of bamboo to survive. Its diet consists of about two-thirds bamboo, but they also eat berries, fruit, mushrooms, roots, acorns, lichen, grasses, and they are known to supplement their diet with young birds, fish, eggs, small rodents, and insects on occasion. In captivity, however, they will readily eat meat....

  2. Young elephants, pandas, koalas, and hippos eat the f***s of their mother to obtain the necessary bacteria for the proper digestion of the vegetation found on the savannah and in the jungle. When they are born, their intestines do not contain these bacteria (they are completely sterile). Without them, they would be unable to get any nutritional value from plants.
