According to reports in France, the cash-laden club from Paris are preparing a mega bid in the region of 100 million Euros, in an attempt to sign Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery and Real Madrid’s Kaka
Les Parisiens have changed the face of French football by investing in the excess of 150 million Euros on new players this season. This summer transfer window has already witnessed the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Moura-c26908,
Marco Verratti and Van der Wiel, arrive at Parc des Princes.
Despite the presence of so many star players at their disposal, the oil-money-fuelled club from Paris is expected to spend more in the upcoming transfer window and reportedly have 100 million Euros to spend in the January’s mercato.
And according to reports, the bosses at the club have already identified few players as their top targets. It is believed that on top of their list is Bayern Munich’ Franck Ribery, quickly followed by the former Milan player, Kaka.
The question that arises here is whether Paris Saint-Germain need to sign these players, and how the pair will fit in the team.
Les Parisiens have abundance of cash at their disposal and can afford to sign almost any player in the world. However, if we look at the quality of players PSG have at their disposal, they have more than one player for every position and there are several
players in the team who are unable to break into the starting eleven. And adding to an already bulging squad is a question that Carlo Ancelotti needs to answer. In addition to that it would be hard for the Parisiens to lure any of these two players.
Frank Ribery
Age: 29
Nationality: French
Club: Bayern Munich
Position: Winger
Franck Ribery, who has been with the German giants since 2007, would not want to move away from a club like Bayern Munich at this stage of his career and the Bundesliga outfit are unwilling to part ways with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international.
The 29-year-old has been phenomenal for club and country over the years and it isn’t surprising that the Ile giants want him at Parc des Princes. In addition to that, Ribery is least interested in moving back to France considering his unpleasant tenure with
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127.
However, with Paris Saint-Germain, one can never be sure and ruling out the possibility of the Frenchman moving to Paris in January, should be avoided.
Kaka
Age: 30
Nationality: Brazilian
Club: Real Madrid
Position: Attacking Midfielder
The Brazil international has seen his career stall after moving to Santiago Bernabeu in 2009. The 30-year-old has found it hard to break into Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven and is expected to leave the Spanish giants in the upcoming transfer window.
Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with the player in the past and it isn’t surprising that the French club is considering signing the player in January’s mercato. However, Kaka wants to move back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 and it would be hard for the Parisiens to change
the player’s mind.
The cash-laden club from Paris can easily meet Kaka’s wage demands, and a chance to play under the tutelage of Carlo Ancelotti once more, could tempt the Brazilian.
Paris Saint-Germain certainly have the funds to sign these two players but whether the players would want to join the Paris revolution is yet to be seen.
