Do People Still Play Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare For pc?

I Just wanted to know. I won't buy it if less than about 1k people play. So If you have the game, what is the average amount of people/servers you see.

According to Xfire statistics, Call of Duty 4 is currently the second most played PC game behind World of Warcraft with COD2 at 3rd, Counterstrike source at 4th, Battlefield 2 at 5th. and Warcraft III at 6th. So yes. A WHOLE lot more than 1k play.

There are 11,848 people playing COD4 PC online right now in the US alone.  This game is alive and well.  You have nothing to fear at the moment if you buy it with the intent of playing multiplayer.
