Do Pheobes use their nests year after year or do they build a new one the next year?

  1. The ones around my house like to re-use their nests.  As soon as they arrive in spring, they check on them.  But they will build a new one if the old one is gone or in bad shape.  We have a long season here and sometimes they make two broods.  They re-use the nest from the first batch for that, almost all the time.
