Do Pizza Hut hot wings usually have a crunchy coating with the hot sauce on the outside of the coating?

We got them tonight and they had a crunchy outer layer. I am not used to this. Is this normal or did they s***w up our order?

I am not a big fan of the extra fat with the fried exterior.

its like that trust me i always order there hot wings u just ask if you can get the original with bone in

mine were the last time..we orded bbq. and they tasted like thy had been hot wings covered with bbq

The ones I've gotten are fried.  Especially chicken kickers.

Not usually too crunchy. I mean, it's not like it's breaded then fried. I know that the boneless ones are crunchy outside, but aren't covered in sauce. The skin on the regular hot wings can be crispy.

If you got the usual hot wings (bone and all) like that, it could have been that they cooked too long.
