Heyy well theres this new boy in my class, and i've only known him for a day, but didn't speak to him because we were in lessons and the teacher was really strict :| i don't know if he knows i exist haha... he is soo gorgeous and funny!

I have been told I am pretty, and I make an effort to start conversations, but with people I like, i find it sooo hard...

I don't want to seem too forward and obvious??

I am shy, but I hang round with the "popular" group (i was friends with them before they became popular, i'm not one of those stuck up b*****s though haha), and i'm not shy with them haha....

i'm a really friendly person, just a bit shy!

What can I do to get him to notice me?

Boys like all types it just depends on the girls looks and personality. If she is shy at first but then gets loose than she will be liked. If she is shy and still shy after a long time, no one will like her because they wont know her.

Well, Im a pretty shy girl, but Ive also been called pretty alot like you, :]. And last year the most popular guy in school asked me out [no lie] and so did like 5 of his friends [after of course, haaa]. So, yea, I think they like the pretty and shy ones.

Personally shy girls attract me alot, and obviously pretty ones.

Don't worry about it, just try and act as normal as possible, smile at him, make eye contact etc...

I guess if he likes you and he himself isn't shy then he'll ask you out.

To me you seem a really nice person so just relax and be patient.

Give him a friendly smile when you walk into the room (and he's already there). If he says the class is a little difficult ask him why & try to offer him help or agree with him (as long as you really do). Just make him feel comfortable around you.

Guys and girls usually start out as friends. You can talk to each other and if it's supposed to happen, then you will eventually get closer. Don't just seem like fling or tease. Let it be known that you can be a good friends first. You can also determine whether he is someone you want a relationship or not. You never know, he may be strictly friend material and that is fine. Better to wait and see then to jump into it and then have regret (or a more negative thing: make a fool of yourself -or- scare him away).

Friends are forever and it's the best way to get to know someone. Plus, all the girls will be jealous when they have to sit there drooling over him while the two of you converse about common things and/or hang out.

well being forward and obvious is sometimes the way go with outgoing boys because chances are they arent going to randomly notice u. but i used to be shy an guys still liked me but that was when i was young like in 5th grade. now im like u, pretty , popular but not shy and so many more guys like me. but im not obnoixous because some ppl get that like. i am a true shy girl inside but i am more outgoing now and i know how u feel. u just have to make an effort to be around him talk more. one day u will come out of ur shell. trust me, all the guys like the shy swweet girls at heart.

of course!  Everyone is shy at some point or not, just put your self out there. introduce yourself. if he has  aband shirt or something be like oh i like that band. notice something with him that you also enjoy and it will spark up a conversation and create interest.
