Do Powerade, Vitamin Waters and other drinks like these help people going though chemo for cancer or not?

Does anyone know if Powerade, Fuze, or Vitamin Water or other similar types of drinks help people going though chemo or not? Or should I stay away from these kinds of drinks too? What should a person drink who is going though chemo and what should they avoid if at all possible?

Medical professionals,medical personell, doctor's,nurses and cancer surivors only please answer my questions. Thank You.

There is no proof any of these provide anything special above and beyond hydration. Perhaps gatorade and others provide electrolytes. Some have various supplements with purported health benefits, but one should be careful and review these with the oncologist, as some "supplements" interact dangerously with chemotherapy. Water and powerade and whatever other usual drinks should be fine. Fuze and Vitamin water are probably harmless, but given supplements should be scrutinized a bit to be safe. They probably provide little extra except taste above water.
