  5. It's a funny question, but the citizens of the UK are entitled to know what the Royalty is doing. The court circular is posted in the newspaper and for the last decade has been on their web site.

One of the queens youngest cousins is Prince Michael of Kent. He is currently the only prince who didn't inherit a major estate since he is the second son. He has the queen's permission to conduct a business, but occasionally he gets in trouble if he does something that seems tacky. Parliament got very upset when they found out that the queen was only charging him about $150 per month for his apartment in Kensington Palace. The queen said that she is paying a 1/4 million dollars a year for the apartment out of her private funds, and she gives Prince Michael the apartment out a nominal rate in exchange for Royal engagements and work for various charities that the Prince undertakes at his own expense.

  8. Yup, Prince Charles was ahead of me in the dole queue in the Job Centre just last week. He hadn't filled out his form correctly though, so they sent him to the back of the queue.

  9. Yep, they have to report to the job centre every fortnight and lie about the jobs they've applied for, just like everyone else!

  10. Ha ha Ha Ha,I wonder if she queues up at the post Office for her old age Pension ,What a Silly Question shes not on Benefit, and even pays tax ,Dident you realise she is a very wealthy woman ,

  11. Obviously they must do or they would lose their jobseekers allowance.

  12. I didn't know Prince Charles did claim benefits!! (hmm... is this the alternative to the footie??!)

  13. No. You know that. You just want a little attention. Wow, you don't like the Monarchy? Who cares? 80% of us do so the Monarchy remains, regardless of what you feel.

  14. Yes. I was talking to Prince Harry in the Job Centre a while ago. Claims as Harry Hewitt.

  15. What a stupid question

  16. Of course they do. You surely don't think they get preferential treatment in the modern UK.

  17. It may surprise you that the Prince of Wales collects rents, mortages, and taxes on all properties in Wales. But it may also surprise you that Royals pay almost double the tax rate than their fellow countrymen.

And yes,he also has to report everything to the Inland Revenue Service and Parliament.
