Do Pro Riders use bibs or shorts?

hi, just wondering which one they use (the majority). i would think bib... because that's the only kind of team replica shorts sold. However, it seems that bibs would make nature breaks a lot harder for them!

  1. Nearly all use bibs. They stay put better and also look better. When you have "un besoin naturel" or "the natural need" you roll up a leg and go out the bottom.


  2. they use bibs! which are really shorts with built in "suspenders" under their jerseys. philo36y got it completely right and even used the french term they use on the pro tour. any one who says otherwise doesn't know jack about bike racing!

  4. bibs, almost exclusively.  in fact, i cant think of anyone i've known to ride in regular shorts.  as for going, they are very stretchy and you can hold the lycra out of the way while you do what you have to.
