Do Psychic Monsters stink, or are they AWESOME?

Question

NOTE: I' AM REFERRING TO THE NEW PSYCHIC MONSTERS IN THE YU-GI-OH! FRANCHISE, NOT POKEMON!!!

I've done a little research on Psychic monsters and frankly, I think they are pretty solid, but what I want to know right now is what you think, are they really that great? So tell me...

I think they are awesome if played right.  My friend is a tournament type of player (as he wins alot of tournaments he enters or comes very close), and he made a fantastic Psychic deck from the Sneak Preview.  He entered it in a tournament on Monday and I watched him plow through the competiton.  I think he lost only once and came in second place.  I don't have a decklist for you, but it's definitely worth it if made properly.  Especially when you add alot of Synchro monsters, the deck becomes extremely competitve.  I believe one of the matches was against a Gladiator Beast deck, which should tell you how good his Psychic deck really is.  So, all in all, what I am saying is that Psychics are pretty awesome.  I'm thinking about making a Psychic Monarch deck.  I'm still missing some key Psychic cards though.  :-(
