Some guy from puerto rico IM'd me and is saying in Spanish, but he is typing weird. He typed "boy" and "bives" instead of "voy" and "vives." Also, he said "yebar" rather than "llevar."

Is this normal for all of them to type like this or is it just this one case...

  1. it is just like when most people IM in english they write

cuz instead of 'cause or because

lolz, boyz, girlz, thanx, should i go on?

    (same thing different language) =D

i personally don't like to change the consonants

(it is also the way the word sounds or at least how we make it sound but it is not written correctly)

  2. It's more likely because phonetically that's how they pronounce it.

  3. y boyfriend is mexican and he does this!

no its just because in psanish, v and b have identical sounds. thats all.  hahahha my guy types "boy" all the time, it makes spanish students crazy!
