RF (Radio Frequency) cables also known as coaxial cables are primarily used to carry TV signals to your TV set.  Even with cable Internet, coaxial doesn't connect directly to a computer, this would require a modem to relay the Internet signal to and from the cable and computer.

If you wish, you could purchase a TV tuner card that'll allow a direct hook up to your computer for the purpose of viewing television programming on your computer.
