  1. You can make good money even with an Associates degree.  But you have to work your way up, which means with every year you work, your experience will earn you a raise.  You might have to work in a hospital at first, maybe for a few years in order to really become experienced.  There are many positions that offer flexible work hours, however to start off you will need to work full time.  If you have kids, it will be hard to buy expensive cars and a house.  My advice, buy a house before you get married or have kids, if that's not to late.

  2. If nursing wasn't rewarding there would be a lot less nurses in the world.  If you genuinely like caring for people it is worth it.  Yes nurses get paid, anywhere from 22-40 dollars an hour. Bachelors degree nurses in general only make a dollar more an hour than associates degree. Like all other careers you must budget your money to afford nice things. Good Luck!

  3. Yes they get paid a nice nickle because there's a severe nursing shortage. The ones with a bachelor degree get more money though. Around $40/hr plus. $25-30 for an associates. But they have to pay malpractice insurance. Not sure about the cost though. Don't do nursing because of the money, do it because you genuinely want to help sick people. It's alot of hard thankless work. Giving people an e***a, and helping them have a bowl movement is only for truly dedicated nurses.

  4. yes i love my job, it can be stressful like any other job but it's worth it because i know if something was to happened to my husbands job we would be able to make it with me being the only one working.
