Do Ramen Noodles make you fat?

  1. NO. us asian eat it all the time.. don't listen to them. go eat excerise for 5-30 minutes and ur good ^^(i'm serious)


  2. unknown, but it may make you feel as if you're poor. i call that food, "poor man's dinner". only because i once had two months worth of that stuff, and for two months that's all i ate for dinner. i wasn't poor or anything, but it sure made me feel poor.

  3. Besides the obvious processed carbs in ramen and the salt, what most people dont realize is that ramen soup base is almost all MSG. MSG, while it is a naturally occuring compound that is good for brain activity, the processed msg makes you retain water and causes tissue inflammation. So technically, you gain much more water weight than fat.

  4. yes, the noodles are flash-fried and VERY high in carbs, so even without the liquids (broth) they are fattening.

  6. will  i know that ramen noodles might you fat but they're very good even though they have alot of and everything else up and them i just start back eating them to today thet're really not all that bad unless you have high blood pressure they will bad on you then probaly make you blood pressure go up or something

  8. they're really bad for you--the noodles are fried and the seasoning packet is absolutely loaded with preservatives and sodium. they are tasty though, aren't they...i like the taste of thai noodle soup bowls. the lemongrass and chili flavor is really good. they're a little better for you. they have those rice noodles. yum!

  11. no they wont make you fat but let me warn you that the sodium(salt)in them are extremly high depending on your age it will affect your blood pressure

  14. Yes it is starchy! But i will tell you hun, my sis lost a bunch of weight eating nothing but ramen noodles!
