I mean in the 2006 Governors race, she answered the question "Are you offended by the phrase “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not?" by saying

"Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I’ll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance."

The problem with that is that the words under God were not added to the pledge until 1954, and the pledge itself was not writen until 1892 by Francis Bellamy long after our founding fathers were dead

  1. Or like Obama's "the surge won't work."

    Wait.

That wasn't a misstatement. That was ignorance.

At least it didn't cost American lives, like it would if Obama were to be, say, oh...Commander in Chief or something like that.

  2. She's smart enough not to be a Democrat.

  3. Look, if you were in public office..you’re going to make some mistakes.  Everybody does!  You can’t be 100% accurate on everything that you say.  It’s human.  She’s obviously not ignorant.  At the same time, not everyone is a good public speaker.

  4. It was a mis statement, just like obama's 57 states

  5. No.

Do Democrats dislike Sarah Palin because of all the positive attention she is getting? Answer: yes.

  6. Yes she is a tool being used by them.  Barack doesn't use the fact that he is black as a reason for why he should be president.  She and the republican party on the other hand is playing up the fact that she is the first female VP.  Its not progress until gender and race doesnt matter and we look at the policies and qualifications alone.  The republicans are trying to turn this into American idol.
