Question:

Do SAT Subject Tests come back the same day as SAT I?

I am a senior and two college I am applying for, Boston College and Boston U., require the subject tests. I am worried about the October date because of just the mere month after summer vacation and on the november date, I have an important thing to do that I can not possibly delay or postpone. I want to take them on the December date. On College Board, it says the SAT will come back on December 23. My deadline for BU is Jan. 1 so I will defentantly need those SAT Subject tests by then. College baord is reliable when it comes to those dates for subject tests, right? I don't want to not be able to apply to BU because of the subject tests.

  1. Yes- Collegeboard will have your scores out. The only way it wouldn't be is if you mess up on the registration part (but that rarely happens). Also, schools with Jan. 1 deadlines accept SAT scores from the January SAT scores as well so I'm sure they'll get your scores either way.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Generally, you should give it at least a month between the test date and the application deadline. The smartest thing would have been to take the SAT during junior year and not wait until the last minute like you did.
