Do Sarracenia plants eat spiders?

Question

Have a spider problem on my front porch and I d**n near have a nervous breakdown when I see one. Will a pitcher plant eat them or just make them more abundant?....and I don't give a c**p about more insects coming around. I freakin hate spiders.

A Sarracenia plant does eat spiders however the spider will get away as the plant is stable and the spiders are all over the place it seems by what you are saying. Try an organic spider spray.....or call an exterminator for a free estimate and just see what he/she has to say.
