Okay, so I go to my local Tesco almost every day, and have done for about 15 years. As a regular customer, seeing the same shop staff every day, I like to think that the staff recognise me, even though there may be lots of people who use the store every day and they may not recognise me.
About three months ago, I made a complaint in there when I thought that they short changed me by £10. They took about an hour to sort it out as they said that their cash office was in a mess and I complained about the wait. They eventually gave me the benefit of the doubt and paid me and I later discovered that they hadn't short changed me and it was my error.
I didn't go in for about three months, but have just started going back. I feel embarrassed that I complained when they had done nothing wrong. Do you think the staff would remember that or do they get so many complaints that they lose track of who complained about what? The staff concerned all seem to look at me when I walk in and I was wondering is that just because they remember me from somewhere or is it because they remember what happened?
