Do Spiders suffocate in cars? Especially when it's really hot?

I have this wood spider(huge), and I'm scared to death to drive my car

  1. Suffocate?  I don't think so.  Spiders can tolerate some pretty hot temperatures if they can find some shade, and there are plenty of places for a spider to find shade in a car.  He's probably under the driver's seat right now waiting to pounce on you the moment you get in the car.  I think you'll have to have the car fumigated or maybe you should just abandon it.

    Seriously, I don't think the heat has killed the spider, but don't let that worry you too much.  There are spiders everywhere, and they seldom cause problems.

  5. anything alive would suffocate in a car when its really hot if you leave it there long enough. you would run out of oxygen eventually, and could possibly suffer from heat stroke.

  9. lol i would feel the same exact way i hatee spiders. i think you should just kill it yourself or get someone whos brave enough to kill it, i defenitly would be too scared to haha.
