No, Starburst contain gelatin that is derived from boiled animal connective tissues.

If Starburst contained seaweed thickeners it would say carageenan or agar in it's list of ingredients and not just "gelatin."

Starburst are not vegetarian.

No. If "gelatin" is listed on the ingredients, it is always from an animal source. There are veg-friendly food thickeners, like agar agar, but they will not be called gelatin in the ingredients because they're not.

Mambas are similar to Starburst and don't have gelatin.
