Do Textbook Torrents exist?

Question

I am student majoring in Hospitality and Tourism & Culinary Arts and lets just say that the text books (especially the cook books) are EXPENSIVE.

I heard a rumor on campus that their are ways that u can download textbooks for next to nothing!

1) is it true

2) what are the websites

Yep there are but they are few and far between and almost a bigger headach searching them than its worth. I find that i can order books on Amazon.com for dirt cheap. Other than that try www.thepiratebay.org
