I'm about to purchase my 2 day with hopper to all 4 theme park to Walt Disney World. However, I just discovered that this may not include Downtown Disney. Does downtown Disney cost money to enter too? And if so, does anyone know where to purchase this?

  1. There is no admission charge for Downtown Disney.  If you are going to Pleasure Island, there is a charge, but they will only be open until the end of September, then all the clubs are closing.

If you go to Disney Quest, there is an admission charge.  DQ will remain open, it is not closing.

If you get the Water Parks and More option on your ticket, you will get admissions to the smaller venues also.

  2. Downtown Disney isn't a theme park. So it doesn't need a ticket to get in. Downtown Disney is a shopping area, restaurants, and movie theater, night clubs (in pleasure island for adults only) the La Nouba show and a lot more.I would recommend going into the world of disney store. To me it's all of the stores rolled into one and an easy way to get all of your souvenirs in one store. It's especially helpful if you don't have plenty of time to spend there.

  3. Downtown Disney is free so is parking.

Pleasure Island is Disney's evening entertainment zone which is closing Sept. 25.

If you are going clubbing in evening or going to Disney Quest you must purchase an admission ticket.

I recommend buying from the tourist bureau

  4. you dont need tickets to go to downtown disney if you want to go to pleasure island at night you need to pay or going to disney quest .

  5. Downtown Disney isn't like a theme park.  There is no admission to get in.  It is more like a little town with restaurants, shops, etc.  It's very pretty and has a lake in the middle of it

  7. Downtown Disney doesn't charge admission, it's open to the public.
