Do These Methods Really Help Conceive A Girl?

My husband and I have 2 amazing little boys who we love dearly!! We feel the perfect way to finish our family would be to had a little princess!! I have been reading on all the different methods out there to help your chances of conceiving a girl. My question is how many of you have used one of these methods and which one has been most successful! We want to start trying within the next year or so and everything says you need to really be aware of when you ovulate and I have never really had to pay much attention. So I want to make sure I am pretty consistent before we start! Thank you for opinions and advice!! (Please do not lecture about trying to play God...we are in no way trying to do that!!)

My brother and his wife read this book "How to chose the s*x of your baby"  and followed the advice.   He told me all about the methods that are used.  They are quite graphic, so Im not going to repeat them here.

You can probably look up the methods on the internet and get a preview of what to do.  I also understand it can take longer to concieve, especially if you are hoping to have a girl.  He and his wife did find that to be the case.

But they did get their little princess after their two boys!

depending on when you ovulate, to concieve a girl have s*x

3-5 days before ovulation (usually 3) since the girl sperm are slower but stronger they take longer to reach the egg but they do last longer than male sperm, as for a boy the boy sperm are faster but weaker, thats why when trying for a boy have s*x the day before or the day of ovulation or day after. since they die more quicker.

It's good that you want to try to figure out your cycle.  Knowing when you ovulate is key in trying to conceive a girl or a boy for that matter.

I also drank more OJ and ate more citrus fruits as I read something about an acidic environment is good for making girls.

What I did was have s*x 3 or 4 days before ovulation.  I didn't let my husband touch me until after I found out I was pregnant or after my period.  We tried for, and did have a girl.  Then later, we tried for and did have a boy (s*x on ovulation day or after)

Maybe it was just dumb luck.  I know a family who just adopted a baby girl as they really wanted a girl and had 3 boys.
