This is just one of many. Gas is somewhat bad though because they don't work in cold conditions. If I was you I would either buy myself a spring rifle or an automatic.

Yes, they make them, but in the U.S., they are quite uncommon.

A few companies, particularly Maruzen, have made gas rifles but few have found their way here. There used to be a site that sold them called : http://www.endoshoji.com  - but it's changed it's address and I cannot locate them anymore.

AEG airsoft guns can be upgraded to quite high power, Some models by SYSTEMA fire over 500fps stock. Any TM or CA compatible gun can be upgraded to near 500fps, anyway.

There is a replacement gas gearbox for TM M4 type airsoft guns that I've seen advertized recently, but I've not had a chance to examine one.
