Do TracFones have better reception then Cell phones?

I can’t get reception with my cell phone from my home, so I'm looking into getting a TracFone. I was wondering if anyone who has had, or has both could tell if they received better reception in areas with their Tracfone that they didn't receive with their Cell.

I had one before i got my cell phone. I never had any problems with bad reception but i've had problems with my cell phone so i would say yes. Plus tracfones are cheaper!
